CULTURE

Reeves & Associates is very active on the arts, entertainment and cultural scene contributing to the successes of multiple events in various sectors including comedy, theatre, music, books, architecture and design, as well as artist relations.

We have organized and managed media conferences, events and tours for several well-known actors, musicians and stand-up comedians in Quebec, such as Claude Meunier, Yvon Deschamps, Simple Plan, Dany Laferrière, les Denis Drolet, Anne Dorval, Macha Limonchik and Anne-Marie Cadieux.

Reeves & Associates conducted media relations for opening day activities of the new Du Boisé Library in Arrondissement St-Laurent, Quebec including a media tour for its spokesperson, Dany Laferrière, a celebrated writer and member of the prestigious Académie française.

We organized a PR campaign for the 5th anniversary of the designation of Montreal as a UNESCO city of design. In addition to media relations, we developed a variety of activities for the public celebration. More than 20,000 people attended the main event called ‘Portes Ouvertes Design Montreal’ over a period of two days, as Montreal designers opened their offices to the public to exhibit their work. We invited Canadian, as well as many foreign journalists to this event from France, Italy, United States and Argentina.

We created and managed a music concert and communications for the launch of the Youth Music Movement, an event and Canadian tour aimed at discovering future music celebrities in Canada. We also produced a CD of the featured music. François Bouvier and Chuck Comeau, members of Simple Plan, attended the event and conducted media interviews as a portion of the CD sales were donated to the Simple Plan Foundation.

Reeves & Associates created Rire-O-Don at the Just For Laughs Festival along with the 7 UP brand to raise funds for the Centre-South sports and community association. We organized a media conference featuring well-known stand-up comedian, Yvon Deschamps, to generate awareness for the fund-raising campaign. The initiative received significant media coverage.
